No problem in a rough use (desert-sand and stones) : UPC is installed under my seat : dust and vibrations but all functioned well. I use DVD and Hard disk to store scanned maps or satellite images. Storage capacity is largely sufficient for my applications |

No problem in a rough use (desert-sand and stones) : UPC is installed under my seat : dust and vibrations but all functioned well even it heats too much I think. So I will install UPC inside a new ventilated box with old 12V ventilator recovered from old computers. Dimensions are small and practical. To conclude I am satisfied with my equipment but I think it has been quichly out of date : price and technique. You can find more powerful and cheaper Tablet PC to do the same work. |

Very good product : Sirf 3 chipset is very sensitive and precis. I have done several trips with my toy 4x4 in Africa And I use all this equipement to navigate in real time or to make a statement of geographical points in order to check my position. |

This screen has a disadvantage : it heats too much and it is a real problem to use it all the day in desert. You have to swith off it regularly before a severe breakdown. Touchscreen is very useful. The quality of the screen display is sufficient for my use (maps and sat images) |
