Car-PC Noah Case 3988B80 Noah Case 3988B80
 | 23.07.2009
Very good case. The front panel is aluminum an it looks great. Only problem is that this case is designed for the PATA disks. Into the package is included Slim-to-IDE adapter and the mounting unit is designed for IDE connection. The problem is when you use Slim-to-SATA, because the SATA cable must be with angle. Also if you plan to put SATA HDD you have to buy molex to SATA. Also if you plan to install PCI card - you have to install slim HDD. Overall this is very good case and the installation in it is very easy. Recommended for everyone!

Very good motherboard. Consumes only 65W with Intel E7200 installed on full CPU and GPU stress. With E8400 consumes 90W because of the big cash. It supports HDTV 1080p thought HDMI - tested. On the pictures is displayed only Optical SPDIF, but mine have Optical and Coaxial SPDIF. Unfortunately there is only 3 audio exits and when using 5.1 audio system there is no place for the mic. You can connect to front panel but with AC97 cable doesn't work for me. There is no support for the fan control for windows. If you plan to use it with low profile heatsink - you have to know that the one from Cooler Master is very loud. Overall - this is perfect motherboard for HTPC with game support.

I have install this low profile heatsing in my Zotac GF9300 motherboard with Intell E7200 CPU and I was very disappointed! The problem is that on full speed is too loud. Also the temperature in BIOS was 65°C. I've replaced it with original heatsink that comes with the CPU and the temperature on BIOS comes 55°C. I wouldn't recommend it for small cases, but if you plant to put it on big case you don't need it.

This is must have if you plan to install Slim CD/DVD on motherboard only with SATA. If you plan to install into Noah case you have SATA cable with 90° angle.

Perfect for CarPC! There is so many options for timing it like you want. If you plan to use P4 motherboard - the you have to buy 4pol-4pol not 4pol-5.25 because you have only one molex connector and you have P4 connection on the PSU.

You must have one if you plan to use M2-ATX with Intel P4 motherboard!

You must have this cable if you plan to use M3-ATX into Intel P4 motherboard. But this is NOT the cable if you will use M2-ATX because on M2-ATX there is P4 connection on the PSU so you have to use 4pol-4pol cable!
