map&guide truck navigator is the first navigation tool for Germany specifically designed for HGVs to be made available on the market.

- The vehicle profile can be changed at any time. So the navigation does recognize the right restrictions for the actual conditions (eg. full loaded drive and not loaded drive).
- You can get warnings when driving into danger zones like extreme curves, tree overhangs, pitches, etc.. - Driver can decide how much he wants to avoid side roads and city throughpassing. - Turnover manoveurs are avoided on constructional not seperated roads. - Navigation recognizes when starting point and end point are in restricted areas.

Professional navigation on notebook or Car PC with door-to-door routing and Touchscreen optimized interface.

The software offers all the functions of a full navigation system and is also supplied with HGV-specific data (from the Falk Trucker Atlas) such as bridge clearance heights, widths, maximum permitted loads and roads closed to lorries.map&guide truck navigator takes all this information into account during navigation or when calculating routes for trucks. Navigation data for heavy goods transports are also available.

- A fast and cost-effective way to reach your destination: Roads closed to lorries are accounted for in navigation right from the very start. Restrictions for hazardous goods can also be taken into consideration. The software selects an alternative route that bypasses these restricted road sections. This avoids last-minute detours and saves valuable time.

- Reach your destination on time and free from stress: HGV routes are consistently calculated using main roads. This means side streets which are usually unsuitable for lorries are avoided as often as possible.

Schematic diagrams of maps and junctions and points of interest (POIs) ensure that you quickly get your bearings.

Routes are calculated using the latest map&guide city maps.

Dynamic navigation:
Using a special receiver, the latest TMC tailback information (in Germany) is received during the route free of charge and can be integrated into navigation if desired.

Address data from map&guide or Pocket Outlook can be easily used for navigation.

map&guide truck navigator can receive text files from almost any communication-capable software.

The vehicle profiles for truck navigation have been modified so that vehicles are now mainly routed via main roads.Narrow or traffic-restricted roads are avoided as much as possible.

For map&guide truck navigator we offer map material "with hazardous goods restrictions" and "without hazardous goods restrictions".
