Casetronik Travla C134 Assembly Tutorial
Please see before all the pictures ! (enlarge them by clicking on them)
You can see the following components :
- Travla C134 Case
- Mainboard VIA M10000
- 2,5" Harddisk
- UltraSlim DDR RAM
- Slimline-to-IDE Adapter
- Slimline DVD Drive
You can see what is included with delivery with the C134 :
- The casing
- an external 220V power supply
- round cable for connecting the harddrive to the mainboard
- cable for connecting the slimline-drive
- Slim-size replacement heat sink for the mainboard
- some screws
The C134 after taking the cover off.

Backside of the mainboard. You have to carefully press the two plastik-holders together and press them through the board for taking them off.
The board from top view, still with the old heat sink, which is to be replaced now.
The old heat sink has been taken off.
The remaining white heat grease has been removed carefully.
Take off the foils from the new heat sink.

Slimline DVD Drive + Slimline-to-IDE Adapter.
The adapter put on the drive back.

In the hand you can see the 4 case connectors, which we have to stick on the board.
Upper right : Power-LED, Lower right first HDD-LED, then Power, then Reset.
(Please see the manual of the mainboard for reference)

Connection cables for Front-USB and -Firewire has been connected to the board.
Drive connection cables were put on the mainboard.

Please attend the 2 small screws for fixing the drive.

Roof after we fixed the harddrive. Please only use 2 screws, because there are too few screws in the scope of delivery of the Travla !
We connected the cables to the drives. Please connect them correctly !
Slimline-Drive : Small black arrow on the connector is to be connected to the pin on the adapter which is marked with "1".
The roof was screwed back on the C134.
Put the cover on it and you are done !
