Configuration Linux Kernel 2.6 + D945GCLF2 + 8" Monitor

I need support in configuration of Linux platform (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Kernel 2.6) on mainboard Intel D945GCLF2 + 8" Monitor. I mainly struggle with configuration of xorg.conf in order to have the recommended resolution 800x480 available. I'm confident that installation of graphic chip driver is correct: lspci \| grep VGA -> 00:02.2 Intel Corporation 82945G/GZ Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02) glxinfo \| grep rendering -> direct rendering: Yes My assumption is that the required driver for the monitor is not installed. Could someone assist here by means of a) providing the driver or a link b) providing instructions for installation of the driver? This is highly appreciated. THX

To get 800x480 to work you need two things : - a PC capable of displaying custom resolutions - a TFT which can detect the resolution So for both issues, you need to get specific informations which we can not give you (because we do not offer Navilock displays).
