Hi,

I decided to put these issues in the forum on not mail CarTFT directly so other people could benefit from possible solutions as well.

The CID700M issues, but I have some issues with it:

1. it generates an enormous "plop" in the speakers when it's powered up. Can 't be healthy. Is there any way to avoid that besides setting the volume to 0 before leaving the car (if that helps).
2. when the CID700M is plugged into my intel D945GCLF2 motherboard it seems to take control of the entire USB hub: no other devices except for mouse and keyboard are recognised. My wireless lan and bluetooth adaptors are simpley turned off. Can't imagine it's a power problem because those things don't use a lot. When I connect those devices to the USB connector of the CID700M all is fine, but that's no real solution of course.
3. it was accompanied with a box to enable the "reset" and "PC power" button. I connected only the power (red and black), the reset wire (white to green) and the reset cable to PC (red and black with plug), but it simply does not reset the PC after hitting the reset button. Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you!

B.
