Hi together,
This weekend I'm mounting my new CarPc an now I have got a question to this display. How do I connect the CID700M
to my M2-ATX power adaptor so that I can use the PCPower and reset Buttons in front of the Screen. I consulted the manual but it's shit, there is just one cable out for PCPower and an oher one for Reset. So how does it work?

Now I have got an answer for my problem from CarTFT-Support they told me that in a short while they will get a switchbox for easylie connecting CID700M to the CarPC.
The following mail I received from them:
wir erhalten am ~20.08.2007 eine Control-Box, die den einfacheren Anschluss des Power- und Reset-Buttons zulässt.
thank you so much dear CarTFT Team.
And for all others there is a solution out there called "Control-Box" *gg*

Meine ControlBox scheint nicht zu funktionieren:
CID 650 + Epia LN10000 EG
Die Controlbox ist genau wie in der Beschriftung angeschlossen, jedoch keine Reaktion am PC auf Reset oder Power.
Was nun?

Sie können uns an support@cartft.com Bilder der Verkabelung zukommen lassen und wir prüfen es auf Richtigkeit.

I just noticed a thread on your forum that mentiones a control box that can be used to control the PC using the displays controls. That's exactly one of the things that I was bothering about last week.
During the past two years I have been working on a fully intergrated car computer system. (http://www.whitebream.com/unigo.shtml) One of the features of this system is a single link between display and computer. This link provides USB, VGA, Power and on the next PCB version also a ATX-like powerbutton signal.
But sofar I assumed that I would have to make modifications to the monitor in order to enable this 'remote ATX control'. However, if there is a box for it, then I assume it is not needed after all. Hence I would be happy to recieve as much technical information as possible on this feature and on this so-called Control Box, in order to allow for a seemless integration of your displays (with the MDR20 cables) to my system.
Thanks in advance,
Henk Bliek

Hey i too am having the same problem. how do i go about getting one of these control boxes? Didn't know anything abouts this at tried connecting wires a few different ways with no results. At the moment i just have the ignition wire on a switch so the pc doesn't start up on short runs. but this will be handy so i can turn off or restart.
