Now building the part needed to replace the car radio and drive the whole computer with a simple Powermate...
I used an old home dvd player face i cutted in two parts to get something regular on both sides, some more work to do with this and hopefully the final result will be simple and elegant. This thing have to be ready for sunday when i'll mount the computer in the car.

Wow it's very delayed between my postings but i have no choice, i have a lot of work aside of this realisation.
After many adjustments, the faceplate is now ready, i just finished primer coat.
It shoudl be finished hopefully today for this part, tomorrow inserting the computer aboard et voilà

Finished faceplate.
If it was for me i wouldn't do it in green but it's not my car
Glossy chromed plexiglass to add depth effect, i also added chrome pins, so one Powermate and no more need of headunit.

Finished and operationnal
The powermate is fun to use and comfortable too
So no hidden mouse, no hidden keyboard, no touchscreen, only the device shown above
