Hi everyone,
I have a 7" display (MM400), which had to be changed a lot to fit in a custom solution. The backplate has been removed from the display, just as all PCB's had to be moved around (See http://www.nygaard.eu/auto_pc_i_suzuki_grand_vitara.html for pictures - don't expect you will get much from the text )
The display is supplied power when the is started, but often in the morning, when the car is cold, no picture is shown on the display. If I recycle power after a couple of minutes, when the car has heated up a bit, it works fine (Since the display power is controlled by the car ignition, I have reboot the car. Guess that is what happens when you let PC's into a car ).
Does anyone have similar expiriences with a display?
What could be done?
Best Regards

Until then I gave it power direct from the car battery (unregulated). All the problems were solved and the picture is better too. Mail me for more details.
