I've got one of these: http://www.cartft.com/carpc/catalog/il/395
The problem is I don't have a clue on how it has to be installed. Here's what I got so far: I've got a video wire comming out of my MM400, witch should go into the switch box, right?(in AV1 in) Then, I have the video wire from the camera, witch should also go into the box (CCD in). What about the AV1 out? I really have no ideea, so please help out, as the details on the instructions are poor. Another question is related to the 12V from the lights. As I know, aren't there only 2 wires for the rear lights: +12V and GND? Comming out of the box are three wires. I haven't got my camera yet, so I couldn't check my self, but this would be in theory. Also, can you reccomend a good camera?
Sorry for the long post, but I hope you can help me out!
Thanks

I use a ccd B/W and a color one.
The thing is that you need possible 3 wires, one to put on GND, one on +12VDC constant, and the last one on the light to switch......
This device needs a +12VDCcontinuously and a 3the wire to switch input.
AV1+AV2 in is simple, put a video source on this one.
On CCD in your camera.
ON AV1+AV2 out you can put two TFT displays.
Once you put +12VDC on the last wire it will switch from AV1+AV2 to CCD and you get your camera on AV1+2 out.
Hope this will help you.
At you service, Chippie

Thank you very much Chippie! So this device is used only for the AV inputs. From what I understand it will not switch to AV from VGA. This is what I was looking for...
Thanks again.

Hi popamarin;
i want to buy force video switch box but i haven't enough information about some specification of Rear camera view switcher (automatic) .
The automatic mirror view in monitor does occure when driver set the gear to reverse?
The automatic mirror view is very important for me, because my monitors haven't reverse camera input and no mirror view features.
if you can help me, i'll pleasure.
thanks...

Hi Elfvos, if you have a VGA monitor, this is not what you're looking for. It will only force switch video from another RCA video source to the rear view camera.
If you want to get a mirror image, you have to get a rear view camera that supports this, or if the monitor has this feature.
