DC/DC converter Car Timing and EPIA MII 1200

I recently bought a Via EPIA MII 1200 mainboard with a Morex Cubid 3677 case. Next with it I also ordered a DC/DC Converter for EPIA ITX (Revision 2) for Car with Timing. This DC/DC converter contains two leads for powering TFT and PC and a red wire with a separate rectangular connector ready to fit on the wire. My question is, do I have to connect this wire in parallel with the power-button + lead? Who can help me sort this out..
